It's time to get serious and to go deep into a project.
In this episode, I reflect on time: how I spend it, what’s actually worth my attention, and why I’m increasingly drawn to slower, more deliberate collecting rather than hype-driven decisions. That leads into a deep dive on a digital art project called The Vessel, which immediately grabbed me because of its accessibility, layered design and the kind of thoughtful artists and collectors gathering around it. I talk through the project’s manifesto, its 10,000-part grid structure, its on-chain nature and the ways people can claim/create/preserve meaning through capsules, vaults and machines. For me, it feels like one of those rare projects with the cultural depth and participatory spirit that early landmark NFT works had.
I also explore why The Vessel feels so compelling: the numerology of collecting, the appeal of shared digital spaces, and its resemblance to internet-native cultural artefacts like The Million Dollar Homepage, but with actual ownership and permanence built in. Along the way, I share my own collecting approach, why I see myself more as a steward than a speculator, and why I decided to mint one particular “axiom” that felt too memetic to leave untouched. I wrap up by sharing some changes I’m making to the show as well, including a short break to build tools and AI systems that reduce the behind-the-scenes workload so I can return with more live exploration, longer-form sessions and a bigger focus on digital art discovery.
P.S. I also meant 1984 is my fav book, not 1948 duhhhhh.
