How should believers live in dark times as the end of the age approaches? Using Old Testament images of a temple, two witnesses, two lampstands, and a demonic beast, John helps us think about this question as he describes what happens in between the sixth and seventh trumpet in Revelation 10–11. As the seventh trumpet sounds in Revelation 11, we learn the outcome has never been in doubt. We long for the day when "the kingdom of the world will become the kingdom of our Lord" (Rev 11:15).
