Join us as Cornelius F. Warren continues teaching through 2 Peter. Tonight we look at chapter 2. It’s interesting that in 2 Peter 2 there are no direct exhortations or commands. Rather, Peter just describes the false teachers and their evil ways at length. It’s as if he is holding up a Most Wanted Poster with some hideous, evil-looking characters, saying, “This is what these guys look like, so watch out for them!” So 2 Peter 2 serves as a warning. In our text, Peter is saying, Beware of false teachers because they leave a trail of spiritual devastation in their wake! Peter gives us seven reasons to beware of false teachers.
