Going on his third year as an independent artist, Cyrus Aaron is a creative storyteller who was born and raised in the south side of Chicago, IL. With a commitment to build his career as a writer, Cyrus decided to move to New York a few years after graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in journalism.
Having been in New York for eight years, Cyrus has spent time living in both Brooklyn and Harlem. Throughout his tenure living in the city, Cyrus spent five years working within the dining and hospitality industries. In September of 2015, Cyrus made the leap towards becoming an independent artist. Since then, Cyrus has appeared in publications such as BEVEL, Blavity, and W Magazine.
