Love of serving can be the drive you need to create momentum in the savage days. But timing and needs play a huge role as well. You may have a wonderful idea but if the market is not ready for it, it won’t matter. Along with that, you personally need to be ready. The good news is, there are currently nearly limitless needs and niches. Much of what existed even 10 years ago has changed, while many things have hardly changed at all. What you have to offer, and your strengths, may be precisely what’s necessary to fill a need.
To talk about timing, needs and love of serving, I (Daniel) invited Todd Howard, President/CEO of HALO Senior Solutions. Todd and I talk about how successful leaders must recognize and seek to fill their areas of weakness. After all, no one is good at everything. Todd also shares a lot about his interview process to find the perfect people, the concept of the 90 day audition, and about restoring and maintaining joy in work.
