UCC recently saw off 10 other Universities, winning a competition that involves presenting projects on various topical issues every year. The winner in terms of having impact and innovation with their presentation will go on to represent Ireland on the international stage. The projects Timothy and his team presented this year were Ceangal which involves working with Women in Direct Provision allowing them to create their own products such as candles and lip balm. With stalls in UCC at the start of each month, they're also in Mahon Farmer's Market. The second project is ReFrame which is making micro transport from recycled plastic. The Enactus World Cup is happening in Puerto Rica at the end of the month.Best of luck to Timothy and his team!
