This podcast is a true story of how my dear friend Tim lost his wife during menopause when she was only 49 years old in 2016. Tim wanted to be on the podcast himself and tell you what happened to his beautiful wife Michelle when she was put on lithium for menopause but sadly he passed away on 6th January 2021 before we had the chance to do a recording.
It was very important to him to get his story out to the world and he hoped others would not have to suffer the way he did. I met Tim four years after his wife died and it was a beautiful story of two friends coming together for a reason. Through my story and struggle in menopause he found out that he was not a bad husband but a man who was lead in a bad direction by doctors his trusted.
He finally found peace and my hope is he is reunited with Michelle in a better place, free from pain and sadness. RIP Tim my dear friend. You were a gentleman I was happy to know. I hope I did you proud with your story. I look forward to riding horses with you next time around.
