I’ve been writing meditations.
Not scripts. Songs. Five-minute pieces where the guidance is sung, not spoken. No one tells you to close your eyes or count your breaths. The lyrics just describe what’s already happening, the hum in the room, the air on your skin, a thought passing through, and let you notice.
A note on how these are made: I write every word and the musical direction, the tempo, mood, arrangement, the handpan direction that opens and closes each track. Then I hand it to Suno, an AI music app, which generates the voice and the music. The words and the vision are mine. The voice isn’t. I think there’s something fitting about a practice built on letting go starting with a voice that doesn’t belong to anyone.
This is the first one. It’s called The Room You’re In.
You don’t need to know how to meditate. Just press play and stay where you are. Lyrics below if you choose to read them and for those who are hearing impaired. I hope you enjoy this new exploration of healing with me.
The Room You’re In
You don’t need to close your eyes You don’t need to change your breath Just stay right where you are And let the room do all the rest
There’s a hum behind the quiet Something running through the walls A sound you might have missed before That’s been here all along
You’re already here You’re already here There’s nowhere to arrive You’re already here
The air is sitting on your skin A temperature so still you let it go It’s been holding you since you walked in So gentle that you didn’t know
The light is resting on the wall It’s been shifting since you sat down Moving slow enough to miss Making shapes without a sound
You’re already here You’re already here There’s nowhere to arrive You’re already here
A thought just showed up uninvited The way the light came through the glass It doesn’t need you to believe it It’s already starting to pass
Everything is where it was Your breath is still the same Nothing happened And everything changed
The room is still the room The sounds are still the sounds But now you hear them Now you hear them
A new Healing Melody arrives every week. Five minutes. One tiny healing at a time.
