Lauren is an accomplished cellist who now works in the financial technology sector. They talk about her life as a cellist, how she made the move to San Francisco and her transition into the world of fintech. She also gives some poignant insight into the difficulties of making a big career change. 

Lauren Salanitro is an Australian classical musician who now works in fintech in San Francisco. Having grown up playing the cello, she graduated from the University of Sydney's Conservatorium of Music with a Bachelors of Music Performance and a Bachelor of Arts. She subsequently attended UC Berkeley in San Francisco. Lauren currently works as the team lead in customer operations at Brex, an innovative fintech startup.
