Everyone has heard about Blue Zones - the areas of the world where people live to 100 years of age or more. But how is this possible? What do they do differently?

After watching the NetFlix infoseries, I was fascinated at the cultural aspects to each geographic local, but also recognized, that with our fast-paced lives and technology dependency, we can only cultivate certain aspects of the BZ lifestyle. The 5 basics are:

1. Nutrition

2. Movement

3. Friendship Tribe

4. Purpose

5. Faith/Spirituality

These are also identified on the Blue Zone website. https://www.bluezones.com/ where you can read about other locations of the United States that are trying to add BZ communities to their infrastructure.

Converting to a complete BZ lifestyle is unrealistic for many, but small changes relative to the 5 basics mentioned, can only strengthen your life in a positive manner.
