1. Find a mentor. Be serious about the mentorship relationship and show that you apply the knowledge your mentor shares. 

2. Follow your passion don't settle for anything else. The entrepreneurial journey can be very lonely and very hard. 

3. Avoid following the crowd. 

4. Focus on your dreams, not the money.  

5. Be a voracious reader. Reading a book is a conversation with the author. Read and reflect on the information, take notes as you read.
