Alison is an experienced speech pathologist with a special interest in reading problems. She was also a homeschool mum for many years. In this session we discuss evidence based solutions to teaching reading, – and talk about why whole word learning is out and phonics is in. We’ll also discuss ways to identify if your child is having issues with reading and look at a few strategies to help your child thrive as a reader.
