It may be a difficult conversation but tissue donation is a crucial part of improving the quality of life for patients with various medical problems. In most instances, there is no substitute for human tissue products, and certainly none as effective.
What’s more, tissue donation relies on little more than consent from the donor. So why is it that we’re so hesitant to agree to our tissue being gifted to help others after we die?
