Listen Later

The Tennessee Titans made a significant coaching change this week, firing head coach Brian Callahan after just a 1-5 start to the 2025 season. Callahan's overall record with the team finished at 4-19, and the Titans have named Mike McCoy, a former San Diego Chargers head coach, as interim head coach while they search for a permanent replacement.

On the injury front, several key players are dealing with significant issues heading into Week 13. The Washington Commanders' quarterback Jayden Daniels has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Broncos due to a left elbow injury. The Commanders are also dealing with multiple other injuries including defensive end Drake Jackson who's out with a knee injury, and wide receiver Noah Brown who's sidelined with a groin and knee injury.

The Tennessee Titans are facing a depleted roster for their upcoming game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Center Lloyd Cushenberry III has been ruled out with a foot injury, safety Kendell Brooks is out due to a concussion, defensive tackle Shy Tuttle is also out with a concussion, and cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis has been ruled out with an Achilles injury. Several other Titans players remain questionable including safety Xavier Woods and wide receiver Elic Ayomanor, both dealing with hamstring issues, and tight end Chig Okonkwo with a foot injury.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are similarly hampered by injuries for the same matchup. Offensive tackle Chuma Edoga has been ruled out with a calf injury, guard Patrick Mekari is out due to a concussion, safety Eric Murray has a neck injury ruling him out, and defensive end Travon Walker is out with a knee injury.

For the Houston Texans, the team has made some coaching staff changes as well. Offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik was let go, and offensive line coach Chris Strausser was also fired as the team looks to revamp their offensive coaching staff. Running back Joe Mixon recently refuted reports that he wouldn't return this season, indicating he's dealing with a foot and ankle injury but hasn't been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to deal with significant depth issues on their roster. Wide receiver Jalen McMillan remains on injured reserve recovering from multiple broken bones in his neck in addition to a severe sprain. Wide receiver Mike Evans is also on injured reserve following surgery for a broken collarbone with an expected recovery time of eight weeks or less.

The Kansas City Chiefs suffered some injuries during their Thanksgiving matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Offensive tackle Josh Simmons suffered a dislocated and fractured wrist and is out indefinitely, while offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor was ruled out for the rest of the game with an elbow injury.

Several Lions players are dealing with injuries as well. Wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has a short-term ankle injury that the team is monitoring closely.

The coaching landscape saw additional changes this offseason, with the Buccaneers promoting Josh Grizzard from pass game coordinator to offensive coordinator after Liam Coen departed to become the Jacksonville Jaguars' head coach.

These injury situations and coaching changes will significantly impact team performances as we head into the final weeks of the regular season, with multiple teams forced to rely on backup players and adjust their game plans due to missing key contributors.
