Known as the Cuban Missile Crisis of Burlesque, Tito Bonito is an international and award-winning performer, host, instructor, producer, graphic designer and editor.

This Miami, Florida native moved to Chicago, in 2005, where he fell in love with theatre and the resurgence of burlesque as an empowering, body-positive movement.

We talk to him about his family’s approval, his penchant for pulling his pants down as a young boy and his journey to become an acclaimed male burlesque performer, in a female dominated art form.
