Believing that God wants you act right before you can be right with him keeps curious seekers feeling like they can’t measure up.  It causes lifelong Christians to doubt their salvation as the end of their life is approaching.  It fuels hateful rhetoric against people who don’t fit a prescribed church mold.

God doesn’t begin with rules.  He begins with relationship.
