The ‘Ivey League’ has already opened its doors to a pair of stud Ole Miss football defenders in its debut month. But there is always, of course, room for one more.  Clemson transfer linebacker TJ Dudley joins his Rebel teammate, and ‘Ivey League’ host, Jared Ivey, on this Thursday (February 29) to detail his journey to Ole Miss. Did you know? Dudley is a skilled pianist and basketball player, too. He’s even considering starting a band with Ivey, who’s back picking a guitar. Those are but a few of the many layers to Dudley, who made his Ole Miss debut in the Rebels’ easy Peach Bowl win over Penn State. He’s just hoping he made enough of an impression to at least get an 80-rating in NCAA Football ’25.

The Flagship: Lane Kiffin not the only Ole Miss Portal King on campus

Tre Harris’ phone didn’t ring for about two hours once his name hit the NCAA Transfer Portal last off-season. However, the floodgates opened once the first call came in.  Harris, then a transfer wide receiver from Louisiana Tech, could have gone anywhere. He ultimately chose Ole Miss over Oklahoma, Texas A&M; and Penn State. “I came here, it was just different,” Harris said, in a sit-down with his Rebel teammate, Jared Ivey, for this week’s all-new episode of the ‘Ivey League.’  The ‘Ivey League’ is presented by RiverLand Roofing and exclusively associated with, and distributed by, the Ole Miss Spirit.  Harris continued, “I felt like the entire program was different, the mindset. Whenever I was making my decision, I wanted to go somewhere where they had a (quarterback) and I could come in and be a guy right away. “All the things pretty much aligned perfectly and pointed to Ole Miss for me.”

Ivey League: Harris knew Ole Miss was ‘different,’ now helping lead ’24 title chase

Ole Miss football had three players selected in the 2024 NFL Draft. A host of others signed unrestricted free agent contracts. Next year’s cycle should be much more fruitful for the Rebels, who, last season, won 11 games for the first time in program history.
