Lost in some of the Kevin Durant trade drama and whether Kyrie Irving would be back with the team was the signing of TJ Warren in the off-season. It went a bit under the radar at the time, but could have been one of highest-upside moves any team made this summer. Warren is coming back from missing essentially multiple years, but is still only 28. And before the foot injuries he had been one of the better scorers in the game, a guy who’d really improved his 3-point shooting. Could the Nets have found a true diamond in the rough here at a low cost?
