TMB E46: Caren Jablonsky and Wayne Satten, Health Services

Listen Later

Caren Jablonsky, Crisis Mobile Team first responder

I have worked in the mental health field for over thirty years with a specialty in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care. I have also worked with foster children. I first became interested in counseling when I was thirteen years old because my best friend had parents who both had an alcohol dependence issue and I realized that I had a high level of empathy and ability to actively listen to my friend’s issues. Over the years, I have combined my love of psychology with nutrition and have assisted people in working through mental health issues to forge a healthier way of eating.

About the Business:

I work for a “health home” that provides crisis mobile team services as well as ongoing behavioral health services including a community re-entry program for people who have been incarcerated.

Wayne Satten, Clinical Psychologist

Wayne Satten runs a Private Therapy Practice here in Tucson.

I enjoyed a wonderful upbringing in Los Angeles. After high school, I went east to Philadelphia to attend college and graduate school. I returned to Tucson in 1988 and I’ve lived here ever since. I’ve been a clinical psychologist for my whole career and I’ve primarily provided individual psychotherapy to adults. I’ve always enjoyed the friendships that I’ve established here in Tucson and I’ve maintained a close circle of friends, several of whom I also run and walk with on a regular basis. I’m also an avid baseball fan.  I have a huge collection of baseball cards and I’ve been a Dodger fan for my whole life.
