I was born and raised in Southern California, attending University of CA at Davis, graduating in 1978 with a BA in Geology.  
I met Danielle Maffei in a bar in Walnut Creek CA in 1979, and we were married in 1980.  

I began working for the Tom James Company in December 1983 as an apprentice — commuting from Dublin CA to train in the Tom James Beverly Hills office.  
I opened the first Tom James Northern California office in 1984, and opened two additional offices in San Jose CA & Sacramento CA in 1989.  

We consolidated three offices into one location in the San Francisco financial district, although I spent my last 7 years in CA working with clients in the Silicon Valley.  

After raising three children and seeing them all off to college, Danielle & I escaped CA and moved to Tucson (Dove Mountain) in the summer of 2018.  

I started building a new Tom James clientele from scratch here in Pima County, and we’ll end the 2021 year with half a million dollars in clothing and sportswear sales — and 2/3 of that will be repeat business.
