Love Jones is a 1997 Black Romance/Drama film that garnered praise and received extreme applause. It stars Larenz Tate and Nia Long as Darius and Nina. Nina, an aspiring photographer, meets Darius, “a black renaissance man”, after leaving her fiance. Darius and Nina’s relationship hits off in the beginning as nothing serious.
