At the age of 6, a college lacrosse jersey in an apparel shop inspired her. She was told it would not be easy but showed that with hard work, she could do it. From that moment, her dream became a goal. Now a Penn State Senior, she has experienced the physical and emotional challenges of becoming an elite athlete. Through effort, preparation, visualization and gratitude, she has learned how to develop confidence from within and identifies herself with the term “Resilience.”
