Damion uses his personal story of being shot 1 inch above the heart to teach lessons of forgiveness, self-control, discipline, & redemption. While mentoring a young man in prison, he discovered his mentee was the assailant who shot him years earlier. This inspired him to create Project Pneuma; a holistic program focused on social emotional learning, communication & curbing actions from trauma in young African American males. This is the mindset of empathy & forgiveness!
