Dreams of Joy's mission is to fulfill the final dreams of adults, aged 21 to 65, who are facing a terminal illness. The organization was founded seven years ago by Mindy Bess, after she lost her father to brain cancer at the age of just 42 years old. That experience inspired her to start dreams of joy so that others wouldn't have to face the same heartbreak.
