Things continue to be grim in Australia with the continuing, extended and tightened lockdowns in New South Wales, Victoria, and the ACT. Last week New Zealand became the last covid zero hermit kingdom to fall for to the Delta variant, so far despite the fact that Jacinda Ardern moved the whole nation to alert level 4 which sees even take away closed cases are surging.

There was another round of freedom protests across Australia including in locked down Melbourne and Sydney. The NSW Police stopped all traffic into the Sydney CBD to prevent people from traveling to protest, meanwhile, the Victorian Police couldn't prevent thousands flooding into the Melbourne CBD and used capsicum spray and for the first time shot rubber bullets to subdue protestors. There is a rumored truckers blockade promoted on social media on August 31 against mandatory testing and vaccinations. 

Australians are being promised a final roadmap to some sort of normality based on 70-80% of the eligible population being double vaccinated. Vaccine passports look all but certain to be implemented in Australia integrating with the existing state-based QR system. The pioneer of Australia's QR check-in system NSW Government Services Minister Victor Dominello has been diagnosed with Bell's Palsy which he has publicly denied is a side effect of his AstraZeneca vaccine.

60 Minutes Australia and the Nine Newspapers concluded their joint two-part investigation into Australia's far-right (with assistance from Antifa supporters) where reporter Nick McKenzie planted an infiltrator into the National Socialist Network to doxx all of their members and find out where they worked. This infiltrator called himself Dave Ryan and according to David Hiscox of the XYZ constantly said the most racist statements and also drove a neo-Nazi homophobic trailer all around Victoria.
