Richard Thompson is a genuine music enthusiast who introduced me to many aspects of independant and experimental music scene in Latvia. He defines himself as a keen participant and instigator in cultural fields, bringing enthusiasm and dedication to over 10 years of concert, tour and artist promotion in both the UK and Latvia. In 2008 he formed Culture as a Dare with Emma Reed, in order to bring international touring acts to Essex and help promote local talent. Originally from Southend-on-Sea, UK, living in Riga, Latvia, for about 7 years.
