Elisha Freeman – While the book of Ecclesiastes is not a fan favorite, it does offer us powerful gift. It is a gift of knowing our end. The gift of knowing our end empowers us to live today in very distinct and intentional ways. This morning we will take a look at what life today looks like when we commit to living life backwards.

Charlie Vasquez – The book of Job is a story of someone who goes through great loss and then struggles to understand it. Along with Job, the question we most want answered is this: why is there suffering? But when we reach the end of the book, that isn’t answered. Instead, we see examples of different ways to respond to suffering, with perspective on which ones to avoid and which ones to imitate.

Elisha Freeman – Love is a core doctrine of the New Testament. This morning we will walk through a familiar passage in 1 Corinthians 13, so that we can learn and be motivated to continue to be a church that lives according to the ‘excellent way’.

Adam Hudson – As a congregation, we have been asked to read the “One Year Bible” for a whole year to increase our knowledge and understanding of the Word of God. It is a challenge for some who are not accustomed to reading large portions of scripture daily. Yet it is essential to enhance your spiritual growth and understanding of the Word of God. What is the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ? How does it transform the lives of lost and saved souls?

Elisha Freeman – Last week we asked the question, ‘What do elders do?” This week we ask “What is the responsibility of church members to the local eldership? Why ask this question? Because a healthy church is dependent on a healthy leadership and membership relationship.

Elisha Freeman – As we embark on the process of adding elders to the existing leadership, the question, ‘What do elders do?” Comes to the surface. This morning we will examine a well known passage to find our answers as we seek the men who would assume the role of Shepherd at the Raleigh Church of Christ.

Elisha Freeman – If listening is a gateway decision to a better life, then whose voice are we listening to? This morning we will look at the life of 2 kings and 1 prophet to see what voices we should and should not be listening to.

Brian Newberry – In 2 Chronicles, Solomon builds and dedicates the Lord’s temple in Jerusalem, a holy place central to Israel’s worship. Jesus later tells the Samaritan woman that the time is coming when worship is no longer centered on Jerusalem, but in spirit and truth. While God’s name dwelled in the temple, Romans 8 teaches that God’s Spirit now dwells in us. God continues to bless His people, and through His love, we are more than conquerors.

Elisha Freeman – The Apostle Paul emphatically states that because of Jesus we have peace with God. What about peace in this life when struggle arrives at our doorstep? What then? How do we respond? What do we pray? We seek to answer these questions and more with our lesson this morning.

Elisha Freeman – If a church seeks to become saturated with grace that extends to all people, what does a church need to remember so that grace can be the result? This morning we will walk through the first few chapters of Romans to find our answers.
