Great starting point in understanding the EU.
Since my brother retired he has become a news hound. He could not follow the news about Brexit because he did not understand anything about the EU. This book explained the very basics. It is a very good standpoint. Since I read it I have found so much more information by doing a lot of research. This is a very complex subject but having read this book as the starting point I have developed a great interest in it and can follow the news reports and so can he.
Phenomenally informative
Chris Bartlett did an excellent job at providing a holistic description of the issues and history of the Brexit. This was very well written and informative even to someone who was completely unfamiliar with the debate raging 'across the pond.' I'm really enjoying his Quick and Dirty Guides!
Great Little Book for Quick Study
With the world so small, we in the USA need to understand the struggles and opportunities that our closest friends (nations) are going through. This book lays out the issues clearly and concisely. I now will look forward to the upcoming Brexit vote some understanding and excitement.
