True Prosperity – To God be the Glory

1. Power for True Prosperity Belongs to God and He Gives It to Us

Deut 8:18 Remember the LORD your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful and wealthy

● Power – Vigor, strength, force, capacity, power, wealth, means or substance, remember all this power comes from God and God alone

Deut 28:8 The LORD will decree a blessing on your barns and on everything to which you put your hand; the LORD your God will bless you in the land He is giving you

● Give God the glory by honoring Him for all He has given and done

3 Jn 1:2 I (we) pray that you (we) prosper in all things and be in health

● Prosper - To push forward, to make progress, to help on the road

1 Sam 2:7 The LORD sends poverty and wealth; He humbles and exalts

Deut 28:47 You did not serve the LORD your God with a heart full of joy and gladness for the abundance of all things [He has blessed you with]

2. Give God the Glory By Honoring Him With Our Time and Talents

Heb 6:10 God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and connue to help

2 Chron 31:21 He was diligent in every work in the service of the house of God, and in His word, in order to seek God, and he prospered

Ma 6:33 Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and everything you will ever need will be added to you

3. Give God the Glory By Honoring Him With Our Finances

Deut 26:10 And now, behold, I have brought the firsruits of the land that You, O LORD, have given me." Then you are to place the basket before the LORD your God and bow down before Him

Prov 3:9-10 Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then your barns will be abundantly filled and your vats will overflow with new wine

● Honor- To be heavy, weighty, to highly and greatly esteem
● I don’t give and the legaliscally, I get to honor my God

4. Give God the Glory By Honoring Him in Praise and a Grateful Attitude

1 Pet 2:9-10 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God

Lk 17:15-18 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a (despised) Samaritan. Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give
praise to God except this foreigner?”

1 Cor 1:27-29 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important. That no one may boast in His presence, we praise him in His presence
