Hey everybody, this is Heidi St. John. Welcome to the podcast. Today is Wednesday, September the 18th. This is MomStrong International day. It’s episode number 820 and we’re going to be talking about something that we need to talk about in the church today— and that is: do we judge or don’t we? What does the Bible have to say? Turns out God’s Word has a lot to say about it.

So much going on right now. I recently returned from my women’s conference based that speaks in Virginia. I want to say thank you to everybody who came out to that event. It’s really exciting to see the Lord at work in the culture and to see so many of you getting off the bench and onto the battlefield. Speaking and getting off the bench, our brand new shirts are in the store now. They’d make a great gift. They have the hashtag on the front, just says #offthebench. Anytime you see somebody with an #offthebench wandering around, you will know that they anticipate getting off the bench and onto the battlefield. This is something we’re very passionate about at MomStrong International. If you haven’t yet joined us over there, I want to encourage you to do it. 

We’re studying what it means to be an ambassador for the Lord Jesus. I really want you to have not just a—Johnny come lately understanding of the Word of God—but to actually get into the Word and study it with us so that you can be that workman that Paul talked about with Timothy. One who doesn’t need to be ashamed, who can rightly divide the Word of God. One of the topics that we talk about all the time in the culture, and I hear this every time somebody like me says: Hey, let’s be set apart. Hey, God says this about homosexuality. God says this about our bodies and how He wants us to use them to glorify Him. Almost always, someone will say: do not judge or you’ll be judged.

We’re going to talk about that today because I think it’s largely misunderstood.
