Friends forever...isn't that what they say? Despite our best efforts, that is not always the case, but with some friendships it can sometimes be what best for you. In this week's episode we are diving DEEP into what makes a "good" friend, and how our friendships evolve overtime with the variability of life. To say the least (pun intended) it is quite a monster of a topic to fit under an hour, but your host had a lot of fun doing it.

"Bread crumbing": modern dating term meaning being strung along when someone consistently checks in with romantic interest, dangling the possibility of a date and keeps them interested but never follows through with an actual date/relationship. This week, Roya talks about being bread crumbed herself and deciding that we all deserve a full on baguette. We also discuss the troubles of apartment hunting and the concept of "everything working out", just not in ways we anticipate.

Welcome to Season 2! In this episode, we take some time to catch up, discuss the excitement (and emotional exhaustion) that can come from meeting new people you are excited about, and feature a story that's all about the freedom that can come from accepting parts of ourselves we have previously denied.

Today's episode checks in on our host and what she has been up to the past few months. With notes on how we must take the time to be proud of ourselves when life is getting you down, as well as commentary about the trails that are effecting the US these days and how that can effect our day to day perspective.

MATCH. THEIR. ENERGY!!
Today’s episode might be one of my favorites so far. We have our first live interview with my roommate Vanessa to discuss a similar experience we had in our dating lives, the assumptions made about us (including the ones we made) and how ego can come into play. Matching the energy of whoever you interact with will help protect your own feelings along the way.

We're back in New York City, baby! This episode focuses on the choices we make, life making decisions for us and how we react to it as best we can. We can't know what's coming, but it might be better that way.

We're getting nostalgic in this week's episode--from remembering the wonder you had as a child, to reminiscing the horrors of middle school heartbreak, we are throwing it back and learning the lessons we can apply to our lives today.

This episode packs a punch with elevating awareness on the Asian American hate crimes and tragedy of Sarah Everard. We have to do the work before we are able to implement changes in our day to day lives. By the end of listening, I hope you have learned something new and are compelled to share it with others.
