Jen Butler, a UCC minister in Corvallis, Oregon, at First Congregational United Church of Christ where she has been a co-conspirator in the work of community and restoration since 2010. In the last three years, a focus of her ministry has been as a community organizer at the intersections of poverty and housing and as founder of the SafePlace program where she tries to live in-service to those experiencing houselessness by cultivating communities of belonging. Jen shares the ways her work fosters interconnection with her neighborhood and beyond.
