You see the decision to stop, yield, or go can be a life-changing decision. As we think we're in many ways the same. I shared how my life was spared by making the decision to stop the other driver's life was spared by making the decision to yield and of course the guy who broke the law his life was spared by us allowing him to take the right of way, just fly through the intersection. We all three benefited for our actions. And I remember that old saying mama said "baby sometime you have to give up the right for the wrong." I just live with it and I've seen it play out many times in my life. In relationships, at work, on the school play ground, just life in general. Those three words: stop, yield and go. They can make life changing decisions.
Such as when your parents tell you not to touch the fire and you don't yield or stop you go right ahead and you get your finger burned, or the law on the street there's a red light it means stop, but you go right ahead you run the light you could lose your life or take someone else's life. Scripture show many places where the Bible refer to yield, you can yield to God to do the right thing or you can yield to sin/Satan and do the wrong thing either way there are consequences for your actions. Consequences for good or evil. What will we choose today? Will we decide to stop doing wrong, to yield when we are not sure about something, or go when God bids us come! I hope you will choose with me: "As for me and my house we will serve the Lord." (Joshua 24:15) read it.
