If we are to live in such a way as to bring glory and honor to our King, then we must not only be people who believe rightly, but also lively rightly. Discipleship is the God-honoring application of what we know about God and what He has commanded us to do. When Christ says I am the Holy One who sees and in conjunction with my sovereign sight my feet shall trample the nations, then know what we must do, whose counsel we must heed, and how we shall then live. Reject the pagan goddess, mortify her bastard children, and do not fall prey to the insidious cult of hedonism.
