Have you ever been on a mission that got interrupted by a distraction? Distractions can cause an interruption in the process, and can cause the whole mission to fall apart -- it happens all the time in our lives. But what happens when this happens to the church? The church's mission is to "go and make disciples of all nations." But the church can get lost in its own weeds -- like gossip, apathy, or a lack of love -- causing distraction and failure of the mission. But no matter where we've been, or where we're at, we still have hope and knowledge that we are still part of the God's family, still co-workers in the church's mission, and still wanting to grow in faith, hope and love. Pastor David Moerbe shares this week's message from Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Gardendale, Ala.
