In this  passage Paul and his companions visit the synagogue in Antioch. Paul waits for the Lord to present the opportunity for him to speak, and he launches into his first sermon to the Jews at Antioch. He addresses the "fellow Israelites and you Gentiles who worship God". In his first sermon, he points them to Jesus, His redeeming work, and their need to believe in Jesus.
