Psalm 26 is a Psalm of David that reveals his heart for God in his public and private worship. David was a “man after God’s own heart,” and he walked with God with integrity and humility. He longed to be with God in the assembly of the congregation of Israel, and he worshiped God with expressions of genuine thanksgiving and praise. Psalm 26 gives us language to align our lives with the calling of a true worshiper.
