To Whom Much is Given...

Listen Later

Ultimately, we must realize that for us to be truly ready mentally and spiritually for what’s ahead, According to Dr. Dharius Daniels, we must be ready for the blessing and the burden.  For us to get more of what we do want, it will be accompanied by more of what we don't want. Excerpts taken from "I Think I'm About to Break" by Dr. Dharius Daniels for this podcast)

The Bible says it this way, for unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. Luke 12:48b KJV

We know that we are going to work hard but we must work God's way, by developing a divine rhythm.  He gave us His example of working six days and

then rest, not because He tired, but because He accomplished what He set out to do. Therefore, let’s follow His example, because our blessing is on the other side of our obedience, our diligence, and our determination.

When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required. NLT
The Lord will move us when He is ready, so we must continue to be patient and persevere. We must trust God's timing and we must be careful not to try to work against our own deadlines, but to move into the Lord's timeline... what He is building in us He will build in the right way and at the right time.

But, for those of us that may have reached a point in our natural and spiritual life in which we feel stuck or maybe simply stalled, I’d like to invite you to join Dr. Johnette Ruffner-Ceaser, Founder and CEO of Liberated Expressions, LLC on May 17th at 12 pm for “Revising Your Priorities to Obtain Professional Peace”.  We are going to discuss what may be hindering your ability to thrive, prosper, walk in wholeness, and live on purpose, and more.  We hope to see you there, as we have an open dialogue that we hope will help you to answer the question.
