In minute thirty-one we start with Kimble being helpful but discovering the patient he is helping out of the ambulance is the stabbed prison guard. He makes a surprising diagnosis then proceeds to steal the ambulance. Meanwhile in the frozen Illinois forest, Poole announces that the background information has come in from Chicago (one assumes by fax or pony express). Deputy Sam, now wearing a snazzy red quilted vest, listens to the details read out by Cosmo. Sam wants phone taps and he yells at Cosmo to get them. Cosmo wants to know why Sam is yelling at him, which is probably a question that will come up a lot.
