Robert Appelbaum who is a co-owner of The Old Ducky French Café – recently opened in Pineslopes in the Fourways area. Frieda Appelbaum, his mother, is renowned as South Africa’s French cuisine pioneer and has come out of retirement after selling Le Canard, to once again, delight us all with her amazing French culinary skills.
