Last weekend I did something I probably wouldn't have chosen on my own — I let my daughter meet my parents, despite not being on speaking terms most of my adult life. In this episode I talk about recognizing that these wounds are mine. I'm choosing not to hand them down to her. She gets to write her own story.
This summer I let curiosity lead my reading choices, rather than forcing myself through a curated list. I'm talking through some of the books I found myself pulled toward — from money mindset deep-dives by the water, to alternative health and wellness books I read purely for the joy of it (no, really).
In this episode I talk about the pleasure of listening to fiction audiobooks while doing art projects, and how that same freedom meant not letting fear of judgment stop me from exploring whatever topics pulled me in.
Let this episode be your permission slip to stop taking everything so seriously. Striving for self-improvement is obviously great — but letting curiosity run the show occasionally is important too.
Making mom friends is not easy, especially when you leave it up to chance. This week I'm telling you all about how I've been putting myself out there instead of hoping people will just happen to befriend me. Plus a quick detour into broken windows theory, feng shui, and why I've been fixing everything broken in my apartment. Spoiler — it's working.
My toddler is going through a challenging phase lately. There's been a lot of tantrums and big emotions to navigate, and let me tell you... it is not easy.
In this episode I talk through some of my strategies to shift her mood, how I try my best to remain calm when her tantrums hit some of my biggest triggers, and what I do to repair things when I let my own emotions take over.
You don't have to be perfectly calm. You just have to keep choosing it.
Eight days into my daily twenty-minute workout commitment, and I'm already noticing what it's doing for my body and my mindset.
In this episode I'm talking about ditching the all-or-nothing mentality, what decorating the delay means, and why a small consistent choice beats a big one you never actually make.
Season one taught me I could choose consciously. Season two is about getting specific and creating my life with purpose.
In this episode I talk about my refined goals for this season. I came up with 4 main pillars I'll be focusing on, and talk you through them.
Today I chose to stop being vague about what I want.

For the last episode of season 1, I chose to tell you about the 3 major conscious choices I've made that changed the trajectory of my life.
I also revisit episode 1 and the goals I laid out for this first season, and the progress I've made through conscious, aligned choices.
This episode wraps up season one and gives you a glimpse of what's coming in season 2 — starting August 31st.
I hope this gives you context for why I started this podcast, and shows you what it's done for me. Thank you for being here this first season. See you in season 2!
Everyone has got an opinion about the choices you make. But here's the thing- none of it matters.
In this episode I talk about how I've started using a controversial tool, and how it's working well for me in ways I never expected.
This episode is for you if you second guess yourself every time you heard an opposing opinion about what your choosing.
Do you wait until you're burnt out to accept help? Then this episode is for you.
I used to do the same, until I realized it made me an ineffective parent and person in general. I would get distracted, overwhelmed, and impatient.
Now I recognize the importance of accepting help, and I ask for it more than I think I "need." I give myself various types of rest as well- time for fun and also focus.
Thank you for listening this week. New episodes every Monday!
In today's episode I recall the process of resuscitating a plant. I realized that in order to bring the plant back, I had to strip back everything that wasn't serving it. This brought me to thinking about my journey in creating this podcast and how far I've come.
