Today, I breathe in the beauty all around.

Beauty is all around us if we take a minute to recognize it.

One of the strongest practices I have learned is to be mindful. When I am being present, I create space in my energy to see the beauty that is all around us. So many people miss what is happening around them because they are so wrapped up in their own Life that they miss so much of the beauty.

What I love about being able to breathe in all the beauty is that it automatically shifts my energy to being present, being grateful, and sharing energy with what is in my space.

It has also helped me to calm my monkey mind, connect more with Nature and with others.

When we allow ourselves to see beauty, it opens us up to create beauty. As a hobby photographer, I look to capture beauty in the most obscure places. This opens my mind to a more expansive version of beauty, allowing me to see it in the most unexpected places.

This is true about ourselves, too!

When we start to see through the lens of beauty, we can start to recognize and see that beauty is found in our lives, in others and within ourselves. Most people spend a lot of their energy focused on finding faults within themselves and within others. They are in a constant pursuit of perfection, and this has them being critical of themselves or others and creates an energy that it is reminiscent of 'not good enough' unless it is perfect.

By switching the script to recognize beauty, you allow yourself and others the grace to not be 'perfect'. You allow life not to be 'perfect' and instead you tap into the beauty of the perfect imperfection of it all.

Today I am reminded that it is not in the perfect that there is beauty, but rather in the imperfect! This extends to Nature, to others and mostly to ourselves.
