Gary Numan is 61, his biggest hit was "Cars". Micky Dolenz from The Monkees is 74. Today in 1973, Ron "Pigpen" McKernan from the Grateful Dead died from a stomach hemorrhage. Today in 1993, "Beavis and Butt-Head" premiered on MTV as a series. In 1994, Soundgarden released their fourth album, "Superunknown" on the same day Nine Inch Nails released "The Downward Spiral". AND today in 2005, Black Label Society released their sixth album, "Mafia". It includes "In This River", a song that Zakk Wylde later dedicated to Dimebag Darrell after his senseless murder.
