Writer-director of "Caddyshack" and "Groundhog Day", co-writer of "Animal House", "Stripes", "Back to School", and "Meatballs", and co-writer and star of "Ghostbusters". Today in 1980, Don Henley was arrested in L.A. after paramedics treated a nude 16-year-old girl suffering from drug intoxication at his home. Henley later pled no contest to contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and went into a drug diversion program to avoid felony drug charges for unlawful possession of marijuana, cocaine and Quaaludes. In 1995, Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong was arrested for indecent exposure after dropping his pants at a concert in Milwaukee. He was fined $141. ouch--that's a small fine--tiny, really.
