In this video, Cate and Shannon read through A Course in Miracles workbook lesson 127 - There is no love but God's. Cate starts the group off with a writing exercise, where she askes the group to list the attributes of God's Love versus the ego's love (special love and special hate relationships). A number of group members read their lists out and it is helpful to hear how the Holy Spirit works in our mind, to contrast these ideas, so that we will choose them more often. Cate and Shannon read through the lesson with sharings of personal forgiveness lessons they encountered. Half way through, Cate asks the group to write out the answer to this question"Why would Jesus say that this lesson is the "largest single step" this course requests in your advance towards its establish goal? Some group members share their answers. Then the group is taken through the meditation by Shannon, where we are asked to "escape from every law in which you now believe." Cate then leads everyone through the blessing of our brother, by experiencing the sharing of God's Love with them. Another beautiful sharing and uplifting gift to join and rest together.
