From speaking at the White House to speaking in the classroom, Dr.Karsonya (Kaye) Wise Whitehead is known for having an informed opinion about issues that are happening withinBaltimore City and around the country. Passionate, edgy and unapologetic, Dr. Kaye writes monthly Op-Eds in both TheBaltimore Sun and The AFRO or in K-12 and college classrooms, Dr. Kaye finds ways to engage her audience by challenging them to think deeply about political, social, and cultural issues—sometimes with humor, sometimes with sadness, but always with an ear that bends toward the truth.
