Edwin and Magda are the couple behind Curious Roo Coffee Roasters, a project documenting their journey driving a Mercedes Sprinter van from London to Australia with their three children, all in pursuit of a world record: delivering a single bag of coffee, roasted the morning they left, all the way to Australia. Leaving behind 14 years running their own coffee business, they set out to prove that raising curious, adaptable kids might be one of the best things a family can do together.

Their current adventure takes them overland through Europe and a rare detour through Chechnya into Russia, across Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan, through China with a guide in tow, and down into Southeast Asia, with a final stretch through Indonesia before an 87-hour ferry crossing and the last leg into Australia. Along the way, they share the realities of homeschooling on the move, saying goodbye and hello to their beloved van Daisy as she's trucked between countries, and the small, unscripted acts of kindness — a stranger's 20-minute detour, a shared cup of coffee — that keep reminding them the world is kinder than the headlines suggest.

Lucy and Ben are the couple behind From Rust to Road Trip, a project documenting their years-long journey across 34 countries, from Western Europe through to Western Asia, in a series of self-converted vans. Leaving behind everyday life in Cornwall, they set out to prove that you don't need a professional skill set or a perfect plan—just the willingness to learn as you go.

Their current project is a full rebuild of a 1988 Freight Rover Sherpa, transformed into a 4x4 using Land Rover parts, ahead of their next major adventure: a 15,000-mile drive from Land's End in Cornwall to Land's End in Southern India. Along the way, they share the realities of life on the road, from roadside repairs and treacherous winter driving to the quiet, remote communities that have shaped their journey, all while encouraging others to slow down, embrace different cultures, and say yes to opportunity.

Ollie, from England, and Seth, from Canada, return to the show after completing their attempt to break a world record, by overlanding from London to Cape Town in a rather unique vehicle, a 2000 THREE WHEELED Reliant Robin (only three in the world).

Their latest adventure is to travel across North America, visiting each of the 16 World Cup stadiums, while bringing a bit of joy and logistical help for fans — in a London taxi called Abbie the Cabbie. Carla and Lida are the duo behind Wandering Pango, a travel and storytelling project built around their life on the road. They left management careers behind and now explore the world in their Land Rover Defender named Pango, sharing their journey through videos and content focused on adventure and conservation. Their story blends practical overlanding with a bigger purpose, especially raising awareness for endangered wildlife and the places they travel through.

Their current focus is overlanding through Southern and East Africa, where they highlight landscapes, local people, and wildlife as part of the journey. Eric, Brittany, and Caspian, all from the United States, share their story and perspective of experiencing life-changing adventure. Hear a snapshot of their life, what inspires them to explore more, how they engage with others, and why they believes it is important to embrace global cultures.

Eric, Brittany, and their son Caspian are a full-time overlanding family traveling the world in their Jeep Gladiator, which doubles as their home and carries their Alu-Cab Canopy Camper living space. Eric, originally from Seattle and a retired U.S. Coast Guard veteran, brings experience in self-defense, medical care, and vehicle recovery, while Brittany, born in Ontario and raised in Texas, handles the intensive logistics and organization that long-term international travel demands. Caspian, who has been a traveler since birth, has already slept in all of the Lower 48 U.S. states and visited dozens of national parks by the age of five.

Their journey grew from a conventional life running a small business and pursuing a comfortable home into a 10–15 year plan to drive around the world, after years of RV travel evolved into international overlanding. Guided by their family mission statement—“Love. Explore. Study. Share.”—they focus on meeting people, challenging media-driven stereotypes, and helping their son understand cultures firsthand so he can advocate for friends across the globe. Sabine and Sebastiaan, both from The Netherlands, share their story and perspective of experiencing life-changing adventure. Hear a snapshot of their life, what inspires them to explore more, how they engages with others, and why they believes it is important to embrace global cultures.

Sabine and Sebastiaan, known as Puffin on Tour, are a Dutch couple who left their regular jobs in law and shipping for a life of adventure and travel, seeking more freedom and connection to nature. Their journey began with local camping trips and evolved into extended road trips across Europe, including memorable travels through Scandinavia, the UK, and Italy. Influenced by other travelers and motivated by curiosity, they embarked on a honeymoon overland trip through Morocco, intending to explore global cultures and possibly find a quieter place to live outside the crowded Netherlands.

Key skills they bring to their travels include Sebastiaan’s mechanical experience from maritime work and car ownership, and Sabine’s DIY projects and wildlife tracking. Essential items for their journey include a water filtration system, phone for community connections, binoculars, wildlife books, and an off-grid wash bag. Their vehicle—a modified Land Rover Defender called “Puffin”—is specially equipped with a rooftop tent and practical storage systems for extended travel comfort.

Throughout their adventures, Sabine and Sebastiaan emphasize the importance of curiosity, embracing diverse cultures, and open-minded engagement with locals, despite occasional challenges like language barriers and adjusting to cultural norms.
