The Feast of Christ the King proclaims His divine and social sovereignty over hearts, homes, and nations. Instituted by Pius XI to oppose secularism, it calls Catholics to enthrone Him in life and law. To pray “Thy kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven” is to reject individualism and invite His reign into every reality. Each act of faith and obedience brings heaven’s order to earth until Christ reigns visibly in all.
