On Pentecost Ember Wednesday, Holy Church invites us to seek the Gift of Counsel—a divine instinct by which the Holy Ghost guides our choices amid confusion. More than human prudence, Counsel is the Spirit’s own light, helping us choose what leads to God’s glory and our salvation. In an age of noise and paralysis, this Gift grants clarity, courage, and peace. Let us fast with joy and beg the Spirit to make us docile to His inner whisper.
