On the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul, the Church honours the twin pillars of Apostolic faith: Peter, the rock of unity, and Paul, the missionary firebrand. Their lives—marked by repentance, bold preaching, and martyrdom—model faithful service and divine mercy. The readings remind us that grace rescues the repentant and multiplies the faithful. Commemorating the Third Sunday after Pentecost, we recall that heaven rejoices more over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just.
